Infrastructure Maintenance Roundtable
Hosted by Southwest Ohio Branch
Come participate in a roundtable with your peers from townships, villages, cities and county agencies to talk about how they are maintaining their infrastructure. We will hear what they are doing, how often, and what is a priority. What is contracted out and what is kept in-house. We will talk about crack-seal maintenance, culvert and storm sewer replacement, ditching, guardrail maintenance, street sign maintenance, pavement markers and bridge maintenance and replacement. We will also discuss mowing roadsides, parks and facilities, weed spraying, and tree trimming. What is done about facility maintenance and park maintenance. How is cemetery maintenance handled. This is great opportunity to talk with fellow superintendents, managers and road foreman to learn what works for their agencies and where there is a common problem such as revenue and increasing expenses.
