Fundamentals of Geogrids in Trafficked Applications

This comprehensive course delves into the fundamental principles and applications of geogrids in trafficked environments. Geogrids are a crucial component in modern civil engineering, providing reinforcement and stabilization for various infrastructure projects.
We will discuss the impact that the materials and manufacturing processes have on geogrid performance, and how they affect lateral restraint and radial stiffness.
Punched and Drawn Polypropylene Geogrids will be covered in greater detail. The progression from Biaxial, to Triax, to 3D Triplanar geogrids will be explained with supporting pavement designs and examples.
This course is designed for engineers, construction professionals, and anyone interested in understanding the role of geogrids in enhancing the durability and performance of trafficked surfaces.
