Project Management / Construction Inspection Roundtable
Come participate in a roundtable focused on how agencies manage their Project Management / Construction Inspection Programs. We will discuss everything from project advertising, selling, pre-bid, pre-construction meetings and close out, to how to manage prevailing wage reports, and other documents necessary for possible audits. Find out what the inspectors look for in the field, such as materials, compaction, pipe installation (mandrel test), sidewalk and asphalt inspection. How are your inspectors handling the ADA Crosswalk requirements during inspection? How many people are on staff? What are your inspectors doing during the winter: culvert / storm sewer inspection, bridge inspection, subdivision inspection? What type of training do your inspectors receive? What type of equipment do they use? Are you having any staffing issues? Be ready to share and pick up new ideas from other agencies.
